Right-click on the folder, click Copy, then go wherever you want to copy the folder, right-click again, and click Paste.Īnd that's how to duplicate a folder in Google Drive. If you have the Google Drive app installed on your computer, you can copy a folder in Google Drive the same way you'd copy any other folder of files. It's a bit more work, and your copied files will have a new name, but that's the only built-in way to copy a folder of files in Google Drive.

Ø Select the document you want to publish. Right-click again, and this time select Move to.Ĭlick the + icon in the lower-left corner of the menu to create a new folder for your copied files. Be sure to sign in with an account that stores the files you want to share. Now, select all the Copy of files (you can click the first one, hold Shift, then click the last one). If not so, you have to specify the full path to the file in the program. Note: The file credentials.json should be in the same directory as the Python script. That will create a new copy of each of those files, right in the same folder, with Copy of before their original file name. Once the authentication has been completed, this will print the names of first N files (or folders) in your Google Drive storage.
Open your folder, and select all the files ( Control+ a or Command+ a).
